Crowd activities at the sport facilities will influence the operational planning (risk and strategic management), facilities and maintenance management, social development and economic agendas. In order to achieve the aim, there are several objectives established (1) to identify the current situation on stadium facilities management implementation in Malaysia; (2) to identify the common sport facilities vulnerabilities and protective facility security measures; (3) to investigate the factors influenced crowds behaviour with the different spectator in major sport event; (4) to investigate the crowd safety awareness and risk associate in stadium; and (5) to develop and recommend any approach on stadium facilities and crowd safety to counter football violence on and off the field and at the stadium.
The methodology includes a literature review and in-depth interviews with relevant individuals who played an active role in the sport facilities management. Then the results and findings will be critically analysed.
