  1. the first mosque was built is MASJIDIL HARAM. built by adam and rebuilt by ibrahim and ismail... remember the ababil legend when muhammad was born and abrahah was trying to build his own ka'abah and he with his al-fiil soldiers got stoned by ababil...

second mosque was built is masjidil aqsa where it is also known as temple of solomon...

hope you may check the fact and avoid plagiarism... g'day

  2. Assalamualaikum Anonymous (who yaa..?),

Thank you for your good comment.

As you can read the title of this post, "10 Oldest Mosques in the World"...in simple understanding means, it was among the earlier mosque that officially built with physical structure.

I agree with you and no one can deny that the Masjidil Haram and the Al-Aqsa is one of the earliest (stated in Quran ul-Karim) as it is in accordance with the development of Islamic and human civilization.

Regarding to the plagiarism matter, i already stated the source.
