According to the Uniform Building by-Laws 1984 and Local Government Act 1976 defines:
"Architect" means any person who is registered as an architect under any law relating to the registration of architects and who under the law is allowed to practice or carry on business as an architect.
"Engineer" means a person who is registered as a professional engineer under any law relating to the registration of engineers and who under the law is allowed to practice or carry on the business of a professional engineer.
"Qualified person" means any architect, registered building draughtsman or engineer.
"Registered building draughtsman" for the purpose of these by-Laws means any building draughtsman who is registered under the relevant act.
YOU'RE NOT QUALIFIED PERSON IF YOU....
Graduate in design or construction field doesn't mean you are already
competent and qualified as a professional person...!!!
UNLESS.....
You are already registered as qualified and professional person under any body.
